My little Madison

Well, Madison doesn't like school. The first day she walked into class without a wave goodbye. I thought, well sweet I won't have one of those screaming kids to deal with. Until I came home from coaching volleyball to find out Madison had turned around to say goodbye to me but I was already gone. She said she had fun though.

Then today, we stood in line on the blacktop waiting for the bell to ring, IN THE SUN, trying to hear the lady give the announcements and pledge. She kept telling me she was hot and was getting all sweaty and didn't want to go to school. I just kept reminding her that she was going to have fun and play and color and glue and cut stuff out. She didn't care, she knew I was leaving for work and that was all that was on her mind. I heard one of the kindergarten teachers tell the hoard of parents that were there, that they need to get used to leaving there kids here in the lines and not following them to the classrooms. I was like, ok, that's my cue. I made sure she got to say goodbye to me this time and she was getting tears in her eyes by now. She did good and followed her other little classmates in line, while crying and looking for me like every 3 seconds. I was walking away and waving, then as she turned the last corner to her class, she looked for me again with tears falling down her face. I waved, smiled and blew a kiss to her, then she was gone. I turned to leave and lost my nerve. It is hard seeing your child, let alone your first born upset. I loved school and I depserately want her to like it as much as I did. I know that she is having fun, that is what I have to keep telling myself all day, b/c yes, she has all day kindergarten.

When I got home from the volleyball game tonight, I asked her how her day was and she said she didn't want to sing the song the teacher was singing (right after the got into the classroom that morning) so she said that she laid under the table. I asked her if her teacher talked to her about that and she said no. Hopefully she lets kids deal with the separeation issues this week in their own way.

Pray for me, and Madison, I just want her to enjoy her time at school.

She Strikes Again

Jorgiana is my never stop for anything kid. She climbed onto a bucket in the kitchen to get the formula that I feed Miles with when I'm not home to nurse him. Then, took it into the living room and proceeded to pour it over Miles, poor guy.

I love the footprints in the formula on the floor:-)
It was all in his hair and everything. He's pretty good natured about her sneak attacks.

Out with the Old and in with the New

This is what we had before, we loved it but there was no swingin room in the back for the kids:-)

This is what we have now. We traded in the truck for a suburban. It is really well taken care of, it was a rental for the first year so the miles are high but it is in really great condition on the inside. It is the same year as our truck, an 04.

Sleeping Maddness

Tyler woke up to go to work and found Miles like this. He was sound asleep but his feet and legs were freezing so Tyler moves him carefully back up into bed.
